Mahart Container started its activity as an independent company from 1998. Previously, MCC was the container department of Freeport Csepel. In the beginnings, the terminal had a 39.000 sqm operational storage area, and containers had handled with one RMG and some other container handler equipment. The owners of MCC decided to improve year by year the terminal from 2006, and the result is thousand square meters new storage places, and replaced, new container handling equipment on the terminal.
As a result of the development projects, the available capacity of the terminal since 2021 is as follows: theoretical container loading capacity: 240.000 TEU / year, storage capacity: 7.200 TEU (full + empty storage capacity).
The available capacity of our terminal is the followings from February, 2018: Container handling capacity: 175.000 TEU/year. Storage capacity: 5.800 TEU (empty + loaded capacity).
MCC has the following infrastructure & equipment:

- 6 × loaded reachstackers (Kalmar, 45 t)

- 3 x Kalmar terminal tractor
- 74 × electric plugs for reefer containers
- Container repair shop
- Dedicated ADR/RID storage place
- Dedicated customs inspection and stuffing&stripping places
